NSW conquer the QLD myth - NOT The Footy Show Episode 296

Join Robb Cox and Warrick Nicolson for Episode 296 of NOT The Footy Show as they bathe in the glory of a well-earned, and quite brilliant, 2024 State of Origin Series victory by New South Wales.

Our first Podcast in four months was brought on by the Blues finding a way to comeback from 0-1 down in the Series after losing 38-10 at home... first they destroyed Billiam Slater's unbeatable QLDers 38-18 at the MCG in Game 2, and then won an outstanding game of Origin footy 14-4 at Lang Park in the decider.

Angus Crichton took out the Wally Lewis Medal for Player of the Series, but he was just one of a host of Blues who simply stuck it to QLD this year.

Thanks for listening everyone - please allow us to enjoy this one.

Munster Mash Origin 1 Review - NOT The Footy Show Episode 252

Join Robb Cox and Warrick Nicolson for Episode 252 of NOT The Footy Show to review Cam Munster's masterpiece as QLD beat NSW 16-10 in Game 1 of the 2022 State of Origin Series in Sydney.

Queensland now take a 1-0 series lead to Perth later this month and a host of confidence after losing last year's series in two games. Ashley Klein may get a mention but QLD were the better team.

Apart from Munster who toyed with NSW, Valentine Holmes and Patrick Carrigan were outstanding with Harry Grant a difference maker off the bench. For NSW, Jack Wighton was their best along with James Tedesco but Nathan Cleary was very disappointing in the 6 point defeat.

Changes loom for the Blues who looked disjointed and exposed by Queensland in the ruck, whereas Queensland look like they will only need to find a replacement for Xavier Coates who was injured.

Bring on Game 2.

State of Origin 1 Teams - NOT The Footy Show Episode 251

Join Robb Cox and Warrick Nicolson for Episode 251 of NOT The Footy Show as they dissect the NSW Blues and QLD Maroons Teams selected for Game 1 of the 2022 State of Origin Series.

There's 7 rookies set to lineup in Game 1 as Brad Fittler and Billy Slater ring the changes from last year's series - won 2-1 by NSW.

We talk the massive loss of Tom Trbojevic on NSW's setup and style, and the reasoning behind the axing of Josh Addo-Carr and Jake Trbojevic.

As for QLD - we think Billy Slater is getting a little too cute with Ben Hunt starting over Harry Grant but it is the selection of Rueben Cotter that gets us talking.

It's just our second show of 2022, so enjoy them while you get 'em.
